Terms of service

Last updated 1 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Find a Day. By using the service, creating an event, or submitting a response, you agree to them.

1. About Find a Day

Find a Day is a simple service for creating an event, sharing a link, and collecting people’s availability. It is operated by Vestia Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16408575, with its registered office at 167–169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 13 to use Find a Day. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. You must be able to agree to these terms under the law that applies to you.

3. Accounts

You need to sign in with Google to create an event. You do not need an account to respond to one. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Information you provide must be accurate enough for the service to work and must not impersonate another person.

Anonymous responses cannot be edited or deleted through the app after submission. Signed-in responses can be changed or deleted while the event remains open.

4. Events, links, and responses

Anyone with an event’s unique URL can view the event details, respondents’ names, and their availability. Event organisers are responsible for deciding who receives the link. Respondents are responsible for the name and availability they submit.

Do not add confidential, sensitive, or special-category personal information to an event. Find a Day is a coordination tool, not a secure messaging, medical, emergency, employment, or record-keeping service.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Find a Day to:

  • break the law or another person’s rights;
  • harass, threaten, deceive, or impersonate anyone;
  • publish unlawful, harmful, or deliberately misleading content;
  • collect sensitive information without a proper lawful reason;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass the service’s security;
  • send malware, automate abusive traffic, or scrape the service;
  • use an event link to send spam or unsolicited marketing.

We may remove content, close events, suspend accounts, or block access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached or where action is needed to protect the service or its users.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Find a Day. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for lawful backups or records we must retain.

You must have the right to submit your content. If you create an event on behalf of a group or organisation, you are responsible for making sure your use of participants’ information is appropriate.

7. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, and who can see event responses. Please read it before using the service.

8. Availability of the service

Find a Day is currently provided free of charge. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or that every feature will always remain the same. We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service.

Availability responses are supplied by users. Find a Day does not guarantee that a person will attend, that an event will happen, or that the displayed “best” date is suitable for every purpose.

9. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

If we breach these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that was a foreseeable result of that breach. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, events outside our reasonable control, information submitted by other users, or your decision to rely on another person’s availability. If you use Find a Day for business purposes, we are not responsible for lost profits, revenue, business, data, or opportunities.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Find a Day at any time. You can delete a signed-in response while its event is open, or contact us about deleting other account or event information. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, create a risk to users or the service, or if we are legally required to do so.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Find a Day, our providers, or the law. The current version and its effective date will remain available here. If a material change affects existing users, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Consumers may also have mandatory rights under the law of their home country.
